GAZA, January 15, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Sunday bombed with an artillery missile and opened a barrage of gunfire towards a location east of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
Witnesses told WAFA that Israeli armored tanks patrolling the borderline area bombed with one missile and opened machine gunfire towards the location, causing financial damages to the site. There were no reports of injuries, however.
The Israeli military claimed that the bombing came after Israeli infantry troops came under fire from the Palestinian side near the border fence with Gaza.
