NABLUS, January 11, 2017 (WAFA) – Israel release Wednesday evening Talal Dweikat, member of Fatah Revolutionary Council, hours after arresting him at his West Bank home in Nablus.
Dweikat criticized his arrest and said in a statement to WAFA that “this aggression by the occupiers is not unusual to our people,” and that “it will not stop us because we are fighting for our national liberation.”
Dweikat was arrested early this morning following an Israeli army raid-and-search of his home in Nablus.
No reason was given for the arrest.
