Israeli forces detain 25 Palestinians during West Bank raids

RAMALLAH, January 10, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained 25 Palestinians in overnight raids of several cities in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said on Tuesday.

It said forces detained four minors from East Jerusalem ranging in age between 12 and 14 years old, three of them from Jabal al-Mukabber and one from Silwan.

Israeli forces detained 11 Palestinians from Jabaa, south of Jenin; some are former prisoners and teachers.

Four were also detained from al-Fara’a refugee camp where soldiers shot and killed a camp resident during the raid.

Two were detained from Tulkarm refugee camp and one from the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.

PPS said soldiers detained three Palestinian from the town of Sair, northeast of Hebron, and a 16-year-old minor from Beit Ummar, north of Hebron after soldiers raided his family home where they reportedly stole money and gold.
