RAMALLAH, January 8, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained on Sunday three Palestinians, two of whom are minors, during military raids into several cities in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).

Israeli soldiers detained a former prisoner from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron after vandalizing his home. He was identified as Khaldoun Ikhlil, 30.

Forces also set up a checkpoint at the entrance of al-Thaherya town, south of Hebron. Soldiers inspected Palestinians’ vehicles and their identification cards.

Security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces raided two houses in Beit Fajar, south of Bethlehem, and arrested Dawod Thawabta and Diya Diriya, aged 17 and 16.

According to PPS, Israel has detained at least 100 Palestinians since the beginning of this year, including women and minors.
