RAMALLAH, December 31, 2016 (WAFA) – Weather on Saturday is set to be cloudy and cold to very cold accompanied by a significant drop in temperature to become 4 degrees Celsius lower than annual average. Scattered rain showers are expected to develop especially on the northern areas, according to the Palestine Meteorological Department.
Winds are southwesterly to westerly, moderate to active with strong gust at times, and sea waves are medium height to wavy.
Partially cloudy to cloudy skies and cold to very cold weather with a slight rise in temperature are predicted for Sunday, to become 3 degrees Celsius lower than annual average. A little chance of scattered rain showers are also predicted, especially on the northern areas.
Weather on Monday is anticipated to be partially cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold, accompanied by a slight drop in temperature to become lower than annual average by around 4 degrees Celsius. Scattered rain showers are expected to develop on most areas.
Partially cloudy to cloudy skies and cold to very cold weather with no significant change in temperature are expected to prevail on Tuesday, which will stay 4 degrees Celsius lower than annual average. Scattered rain showers are expected to develop especially on the northern areas.
Citizens were warned against slipping on roads, frost and freeze forming at early hours of morning and from low horizontal visibility.
