RAMALLAH, December 22, 2016 (WAFA) – Palestinian commuters to Ramallah from surrounding villages were surprised on Thursday to see Israeli army checkpoints blocking main roads that lead to the city.
The checkpoints blocked traffic through Atara and Ein Sinia, as well as Nabi Saleh, where an iron gate has closed the road for the fourth day in a row following alleged shooting at Israelis.
Commuters were forced to take longer alternative routes to reach their work or businesses in Ramallah.
