Four More Palestinians Detained in West Bank Raids

JERUSALEM, July 19, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday detained four more Palestinians during predawn raids into a number of West Bank districts, bringing the total number of detainees to 18, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society.

Israeli police detained Haytham Zahran during a raid into Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.

Another Palestinian identified as Hussein Issa was detained as Israeli troops raided the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem.

Furthermore, troops raided the northern West Bank districts of Tulkarem and Qalqiliya, handcuffing and detaining Majed Badran and Muhammad Salim, 28.

This came as a total of 14 Palestinians, including three minors, were also detained from the West Bank.

Monday evening, Samaher Masalmeh from Hebron was detained as she was visiting her husband, Nabil, who is imprisoned in al-Naqab detention center.

Also Monday evening, Israeli troops detained Abdul-Hafith Shehadeh from the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
