HEBRON, July 9, 2016 (WAFA) – A Palestinian Saturday was shot and injured and dozens others suffocated during clashes with Israeli forces in Dura town, south of Hebron, said security sources.
Israeli forces raided and deployed in the Hebron town of Dura, triggering clashes with local youths who attempted to block their passage.
Soldiers seized a vehicle belonging to Suhaib al-Faqih and briefly detained Mus‘ab and Nabil Shawarneh after storming their family house.
Soldiers also handcuffed and detained Adam Abu-Sharar, 30.
During the clashes, soldiers fired live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters, hitting and injuring a Palestinian local with a live round in his leg.
Several other Palestinian locals were injured with rubber-coated steel bullets, while many others suffocated from excessive tear gas inhalation.
