HEBRON, July 7, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained Thursday eight Palestinians, including a woman for allegedly possessing a knife, from the southern West Bank districts of Bethlehem and Hebron, said security sources.
Forces detained two Palestinians, identified as Abbas Abu-Mayyala, 20, and Hanadi Rashid, 22, a mother of three girls, near the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron’s Old City.
Rashid was detained purportedly for possessing a knife.
Four more Palestinians were detained during separate raids into Dura town and Al-Burj village, west and southwest of Hebron.
The detainees were identified as Hussein Faqih, Raad Al-Amayra, 18, Wael Al-Faqyat, 35, and Ayman Al-Faqyat, 38.
Meanwhile, forces detained two Palestinian minors during a predawn raid that sparked clashes in Aida refugee camp, north of Bethlehem.
The detainees were identified as Saleh al-Asad, 17, and Ahmad al-Azraq, 16.
During clashes, soldiers fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades toward local youths. No injuries were reported though.
