RAMALLAH, June 26, 2016 (WAFA)- Israeli occupation forces overnight Saturday and early Sunday detained 14 Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
PPS said Israeli forces detained four Palestinians from Bethlehem’s towns of al-Khader and Nahalin. They were identified as Bassam N. al-Balbool, Nassar M. Nassar, Faris al-Nis, and Noor-Eddin Shakarneh.
In Tubas, Israeli soldiers detained three locals who were identified as Rabe’ Shaf’e, Hossam Abu Zaineh, and Hussain Daraghmeh.
Meanwhile, local ‘Eid al-Rimawi was detained in the Ramallah area.
In Jenin’s village of Kufr Qoud to the southwest, forces detained an ex-detainee who was identified as Sa’ed Abu Obaid, 36. Undercover special units, baked by large military forces, reportedly raided and wreaked havoc into Obaid’s home, along with his brother’s home. They further interrogated the family members.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police detained four worshippers, including two South-African Muslim men, who barricaded themselves inside al-Aqsa mosque’s compound in Jerusalem.
Clashes erupted inside the mosque’s compound in the early morning hours, resulting in the injury of at least five worshippers.
furthermore, Israeli police detained a Palestinian from Jerusalem‘s al-Issawiya. He was identified as Saleh Abu ‘Asab.
Meanwhile, police handed Ahmad Obaid a notice ordering him to appear before the Israeli intelligence for interrogation, after ‘brutally’ raiding his family’s home in central Jerusalem.
