Weather Forecast: Temperatures Remain High

RAMALLAH, June 15, 2016 (WAFA) – Hot and dry weather prevails on Wednesday despite a slight drop in temperatures, which remain above the seasonal average by almost seven degrees Celsius, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.

Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly and moderate to occasionally active. Sea waves are medium.

Temperatures are expected to significantly drop on Thursday, yet remaining above annual average by a slight margin.

However on Friday, temperatures are expected to slightly rise, approaching three degrees Celsius over annual average.

Temperatures continue to rise on Saturday and approach five degrees Celsius over annual average.

The weather department warned against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight on Wednesday at the peak hours between 11 am and 4 pm.
