RAMALLAH,
July 26, 2015 (WAFA) - The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential
buildings reached 100.89 with an increase of 0.26% in the West Bank during June
2015 compared to May 2015, said a report
issued by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) on Sunday.
It
said that, CCI rose due to the increase in the prices of labor wages by 1.44%, and
rental equipments by 0.25%, while prices of raw materials decreased by 0.22% during
June 2015 compared to the previous month.
Meanwhile,
CCI for Non-residential buildings reached 101.13 with an increase of 0.32% in
the West Bank during June 2015 compared to the previous month.
It rose
due to the increase in the prices of labor wages by 1.44%, and rental of
equipments by 0.21%, while raw materials slightly decreased during the same
period.
As
for CCI for Skeleton buildings, it reached 98.86 with a slight decrease of 0.08%
in the West Bank during June 2015 compared to the previous month. It declined
due to the decrease in prices of raw materials by 0.59%, while Labor wages increased
by 1.24%, and rental of equipments by 0.06% during the same period.
The
overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 112.74 with a decrease of 0.14% in the
West Bank during June 2015 compared to May 2015.
It
declined due to the decrease in the prices of raw materials by 0.21%, and
rental of equipments by 0.05%, while operating costs of equipment &
maintenance slightly increased by 0.08%, and labor wages by 0.02%, during the
same period.
Meanwhile,
the overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 110.05 with an increase of
0.13% in the West Bank during june 2015 compared to May 2015.
WNCI
reached 112.23 with an increase of 0.38%, and Water Reservoirs Cost Index
reached 105.26 with a decrease of 0.47% during the same period.
As
for the overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI), it reached 107.44 with a
slight increase of 0.04% in the West Bank during the same period.
