WEST BANK, June 2, 2015 (WAFA)
– The Israeli army and police arrested 15 Palestinians at least on Tuesday during
predawn and night raids that took place across the West Bank and Jerusalem,
according to local and security sources.
The army stormed Ein Sultan
refugee camp, on the outskirts of Jericho, and arrested three Palestinians.
They were identified as Yazan Abu Lawi, Jihad Manasrah and Samer Ibrahim.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers set
a flying checkpoint near Ramallah and arrested Hekmat Odeh, 25 and Jasem Odeh,
22, from the village of Seida near Tulkarm.
Army forces also stormed the
city of Jenin and nearby Jenin refugee camp, where they arrested 50-year-old
Khaled Abu Zeineh, an Islamic Jihad official, and his 17-year-old son Riyad.
The Israeli army also broke
into the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, and arrested 19-year-old Baraa Hamed.
The Israeli soldiers also stormed the city of Hebron and arrested two local
residents, identified as Mohammad Razem, 17, and Waleed Abu Turki, 22.
In Jerusalem, Israeli police
arrested at least six Palestinians in the neighborhood districts of Thawri,
Silwan and the Old City. They were identified as Basem Shweki, Murad Shweki,
Naseem Shweki, Hashem Abu Khaled and Waleed Ferawi.
