CAIRO, October 12, 2014 (WAFA) – The Qatar government Sunday pledged to donate one billion dollars for the reconstruction of Gaza, reported Agence France Presse (AFP).
During the Gaza donor conference held in Cairo on Sunday to get the world countries to donate for the reconstruction of the war-battered Gaza Strip, Qatar announced that it will donate one billion dollars for the rehabilitation of the strip.
The Palestinian Authority submitted a reconstruction proposal of $4 billion during the conference.
