RAMALLAH, November 27, 2025 (WAFA) - Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh, welcomed the joint statement issued by France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, that clearly condemned the dangerous escalation in settler violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank, and the illegal settlement expansion policies.

In a post on X, the Vice President said, “We welcome the statement of the four European countries (the E4: France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom) that clearly condemned the dangerous escalation in settler violence against our people in the West Bank, and the illegal settlement expansion policies.”

He added: “We stress the importance of this position in protecting civilians and stopping attacks and call for a halt to unilateral measures. We highly appreciate their call to stop settlements and release clearance revenues, and stress the need to support the two-state solution and international action to ensure stability and peace.”
