The Ministry stressed that the adoption of this resolution provides further support to ongoing pillar that strengthens the ongoing Palestinian diplomatic efforts to protect national rights, bolster international consensus on them, and counter attempts to undermine them.

The Ministry emphasized the need to build upon this momentum by  working with member states to ensure the consolidation of the cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip, the continued and effective delivery of humanitarian aid, and the advancement of reconstruction efforts and the restoration of normalcy in accordance with international law.

It expressed deep appreciation to the countries that voted in favor of the resolution, and called on them to translate this support into practical steps that would enable the Palestinian people to exercise their right to self-determination and end the Israeli occupation, in accordance with the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion, which affirmed the illegality of the occupation and the need to end it immediately and without delay, as it is the only way to achieve security, peace and stability in the Middle East.
