CAIRO, November 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi underscored the necessity of fully implementing all stages of the Sharm el-Sheikh agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip, maintain the ceasefire, and guarantee the unrestricted flow of sufficient humanitarian aid into the Strip.
This came during his meeting today with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu.
Both sides affirmed that implementing the two-state solution and establishing the State of Palestine in line with international legitimacy resolutions constitutes the sole path toward achieving a just, lasting peace and stability in the region.
For his part, Shoigu expressed his country’s appreciation for Egypt’s role in the Middle East, stressing that history will record President el-Sisi’s pivotal role in consolidating regional stability, and affirmed continued coordination between Russia and Egypt in this regard.
