RAMALLAH, November 15, 2025 (WAFA) - Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh, received a high-level European Union delegation today in Ramallah.

The delegation included the EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process Christophe Bigot; Stefano Tomat, Managing Director of the European External Action Service and Head of Civilian Operations; Andreas Papaconstantinou from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations; Henrike Trautmann, Senior Advisor for Gaza Reconstruction and Director of Middle East Affairs; and Ambassador Alexandre Stutzmann, Head of the EU Mission to Palestine.

The meeting, attended by Fatah Central Committee member and Presidential Spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh, addressed the latest political developments and the humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian Territory, as well as ways to enhance joint cooperation between the State of Palestine and the European Union.
