PM Mustafa discusses latest developments and enhancing joint cooperation with Singaporean Foreign Minister

RAMALLAH, November 4, 2025 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met today with Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan at his office in Ramallah, during which they discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and matters of mutual interest.

Mustafa emphasized that any transitional arrangements in the Gaza Strip must comply with the New York Declaration and should enable the State of Palestine, through its official institutions, to operate on the ground in the Strip and achieve unity with the West Bank, within the framework of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state.

The Prime Minister provided a detailed briefing on Israel’s continued steps to undermine all Palestinian efforts through checkpoints, the occupation of camps in the northern West Bank, daily attacks by occupation forces and colonists, and the withholding of Palestinian tax revenues.

Mustafa valued Singapore’s ongoing support for Palestine at all levels, noting the importance of joint cooperation to achieve recovery and advance the Palestinian national economy.

For his part, the Singaporean Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s support for efforts to maintain a sustainable ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, facilitate the entry of humanitarian and relief aid into the Strip, and support peace efforts and the achievement of a two-state solution, in addition to providing technical support, building Palestinian capacities and institutions, and delivering humanitarian and relief assistance.
