OIC slams Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, calls for international pressure to uphold ceasefire

RAMALLAH, October 30, 2025 (WAFA) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip yesterday, which resulted in the killing of more than 100 Palestinians, mostly women and children, in what it described as a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.

The OIC called on the international community to pressure Israel, the occupying power, to abide by its obligations under international humanitarian law, maintain the ceasefire, and allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

The OIC also condemned the escalating Israeli attacks in the West Bank, including the closure of Jerusalem and the roads leading to it under the pretext of securing a march by extremist colonists, and the continued violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, as part of an attempt to Judaize Jerusalem and impose new realities on the ground, in flagrant violation of international law and relevant UN resolutions.
