RAMALLAH, October 22, 2025 (WAFA) – A Reuters/Ipsos poll showed that most Americans, including 80% of Democrats and 41% of Republicans, believe the United States should recognize a Palestinian state, indicating that President Donald Trump's opposition to the move is out of step with public opinion.
The six-day survey, which concluded last Monday, found that 59% of respondents supported U.S. recognition of a Palestinian state, while 33% opposed it, with the remainder unsure or not responding.
