NEW YORK, October 21, 2025 (WAFA) - The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) documented 71 attacks by colonists in the West Bank between October 7 and 13, half of which were linked to the olive harvest season.
OCHA explained that colonists attacked Palestinians in 27 villages in the West Bank, resulting in injuries and property damage. It noted that the attacks included assaults on farmers, theft of crops or equipment, or vandalism of olive trees.
During the annual olive harvest season, Palestinian lands are subjected to repeated attacks by colonists and the occupation army.
Farmers constantly face attacks and violations that prevent them from accessing their lands, resulting in significant material losses and increasing their daily suffering under the occupation.
Since October 7, 2023, colonists have carried out a total of 7,154 attacks against citizens and their property, resulting in the killing of 33 citizens in the West Bank.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, attacks by the occupation forces and colonists have also resulted in the uprooting, destruction, and damage of a total of 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees.
