LJUBLJANA, October 20, 2025 (WAFA) - Jordanian King Abdullah II stressed today the need to commit to the ceasefire in Gaza and ensure the implementation of all stages of the agreement to end the war.

During a meeting with President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, King Abdallah stressed the need to ensure the flow of relief aid to all areas of the Strip to alleviate the dire humanitarian situation.

The meeting also touched on the situation in the West Bank and Gaza, with the two leaders emphasizing the need to work towards comprehensive calm, and to reject settlement building, which violates international law and undermines peace prospects, as reported by Jordan’s Petra news agency.

The President of Slovenia also praised Jordan’s significant role in supporting Palestinians through the provision of humanitarian aid to Gaza, as well as facilitating the delivery of aid from Slovenia through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.

The Slovenian president praised Jordan’s ongoing efforts to achieve peace, noting her country’s support for the two-state solution.
