BUDAPEST, October 6, 2025 (WAFA) – A large public took to the streets on Monday in the Hungarian capital of Budapest to protest Israel’s unrelenting genocidal aggression on Gaza.

The rally, called for by the Hungarian Peace Circle, drew a sizable crowd, including Hungarian citizens, international solidarity activists, and representatives from the Arab community.

Among the participants were the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Hungary, Fadi Al-Husseini, along with embassy staff and numerous Palestinian and Arab students residing in the country.

Addressing the demonstrators, Ambassador Al-Husseini called for support for the just cause of Palestine and for standing by the Palestinian people's rights to freedom and independence, highlighting the immense pain caused by the war of annihilation.

He affirmed that Palestine is not just a cause for the Palestinian people, but a cause for every free person.
