GENEVA, September 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) announced today the suspension of its operations in Gaza City due to the escalating Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.
The organization said its decision came after Israeli forces surrounded its clinics, leaving no possibility of continuing activities.
It stressed that the suspension comes at a critical time, given the immense needs in Gaza, particularly among the most vulnerable, including newborns in intensive care units and patients with severe injuries or life-threatening illnesses who are unable to move and remain at great risk.
