NEW YORK, September 19, 2025 (WAFA) - The United Nations General Assembly voted today, Friday, in favor of allowing President Mahmoud Abbas to address via video the annual meeting of world leaders in the coming days.
The decision was backed by 145 countries, with five against and six abstentions.
The United States earlier announced it would not grant visas to the Palestinian delegation attending the General Assembly meetings this month.
