DOHA, September 9, 2025 (WAFA) -  President and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh, met on Sunday with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in Doha, the Qatari capital.

"The meeting discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including the escalation of aggression, forced displacement, and colonial expansion plans."

The Qatari Prime Minister stressed the urgent need to halt the Israeli occupation’s aggression on Gaza and ensure the unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid.

He also reaffirmed Qatar’s firm position in support of the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
