RAMALLAH, September 6, 2025 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Justice, on behalf of the government, condemned the recent US administration's decision to impose sanctions on three of the most prominent Palestinian human rights organizations: the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, the Al Mezan Center for Human Rights in the Gaza Strip, and Al-Haq.
The Ministry considered this decision a dangerous and unacceptable targeting of Palestinian civil society and its human rights and humanitarian organizations, which defend human rights in accordance with international laws and norms, which documents Israeli occupation's violations against the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites.
The Ministry affirmed its full support for the targeted organizations and called for the reversal of this decision.
It also called on the international community, the United Nations, and its specialized organizations to immediately intervene to protect the Palestinian people and their institutions.
