Saudi Arabia condemns repeated Israeli statements on displacement of Palestinian people

RIYADH, September 5, 2025 (WAFA) – The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the repeated remarks by Israeli Prime Minister regarding the displacement of Palestinians from their land, including through Rafah crossing, and the continued use of siege and starvation as a means of enforcing forced displacement.

The Ministry described these actions as a grave violation of international laws, principles, and basic humanitarian norms, affirming its full support for its brotherly country, Egypt, in this regard.

The Ministry, in a statement, stressed the necessity for international community intervention, particularly by the permanent members of the UN Security Council, to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and their land.

It reiterated its rejection of any form of displacement, regardless of the pretext, and called for holding the occupation authorities accountable for crimes of genocide and serious violations against civilians.

The Ministry emphasized the urgent need to put an end to these crimes and violations, ensure protection for the Palestinian people, and uphold their legitimate right to establish an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, a step it affirmed as essential for ensuring regional security and stability.
