RAMALLAH, September 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon said that every day the world is losing nearly a classroom of students in Gaza due to ongoing bombardment and deliberate starvation.

In a press statement, Fajon  affirmed that life-saving aid is being deliberately blocked in Gaza, and entire families are being wiped out before the eyes of the world."

She underscored that peace requires justice, which is why we have imposed sanctions on Israeli ministers and banned arms trade with them.

Fajon  recalled that her country has already recognized the state of  Palestine and will call for boarder international recognition during the UN General Assembly.

She added that Slovenia is also considering joining South Africa's case against Israel before the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
