GENEVA, August 31, 2025 (WAFA) – The Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP), Cindy McCain, said that the Israeli military operation in Gaza City will further hinder the entry of humanitarian aid, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian crisis and threatening a further deterioration of the situation.

In a press statement issued on Sunday evening, McCain described the current situation in the Gaza Strip as dangerous, stressing the urgent need to allow the immediate entry of humanitarian aid to meet the needs of the Strip’s population.
