Foreign Ministry condemns escalating violence and crimes committed by colonists against Palestinians

RAMALLAH, August 15, 2025 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the escalating violence and crimes committed by Israeli colonists against Palestinians, their land, homes, vehicles, trees, sources of livelihood, and holy sites.

This came in condemnation of the ongoing targeting of Palestinian villages and communities by colonists, most recently in the villages and towns of Duma, south of Nablus, and ‘Atara, Al-Mazra’a al-Sharqiya, and Abu Falah in the Ramallah governorate, as well as areas in the Jordan Valley and Masafer Yatta in Hebron.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry held the Israeli government directly responsible for these crimes, which take place under the protection of the occupation army and with continuous incitement from ministers in the extremist government.

It stressed that international reactions to the crimes of the occupation and its colonists remain insufficient and have not risen to the level of the terrorism, genocide, displacement, starvation, and annexation to which the Palestinian people are subjected.

The Ministry called for bolder international positions and measures to impose an immediate halt to the crimes of the occupation.
