TUNISIA, August 9, 2025 (WAFA) - Tunisia Friday strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s decision to reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip, and disperse its inhabitants and cram them into a narrow part of it, which constitutes a flagrant violation of all international laws and covenants, as well as a blatant violation of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and a desperate attempt to liquidate their cause and break their will to defend their legitimate rights and force them to abandon their land.

This plan also constitutes a new chapter in the crimes of the occupation and its indifference to the international community and the system of human morals and values, crimes that are becoming more horrible and brutal day by day; which puts all world powers, the international will and the UN system, especially the Security Council, before a watershed moment in which it must decide its position towards the future of the world, truth and human justice, and commit to its duty to stop the genocide of the Palestinian people and provide the necessary protection for them.

Tunisia reaffirmed its unconditional support for the brotherly Palestinian people in their struggle to recover their legitimate, inalienable and imprescriptible rights, and its firm position in support of the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent and fully sovereign State on all the land of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
