GAZA, August 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Israel's plan to take control of Gaza City is wrong.
In a press statement late last night, Carney added this plan would neither improve the humanitarian situation on the ground nor ensure the safety of the remaining hostages, warning it could instead put their lives at greater risk.
