RAMALLAH, August 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Vice President of the State of Palestine and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh, said today that the firm stance taken by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in rejecting the forced displacement of the Palestinian people, and in affirming that what is taking place in the Gaza Strip constitutes a continuation of genocide, serves as a powerful cry to the international community to assume its moral and humanitarian responsibilities in protecting the Palestinian people from the crimes being committed against them by Israel.

The Vice President warned that the latest Israeli threats to reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip portend further mass massacres to be carried out by the Israeli occupying forces.
