RAMALLAH, May 28, 2025 (WAFA) – French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday reaffirmed his country’s commitment to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a two-state solution and rejected claims of double standards in France’s Middle East policy.
“The only path to restoring peace and building a sustainable future is through a political solution,” Macron said during remarks in Indonesia.
He also revealed that France, in coordination with Saudi Arabia, is set to host a conference in New York aimed at revitalizing efforts to recognize the State of Palestine.
