BERLIN, May 25, 2025 (WAFA) - Florian Hahn, German Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, emphasized the urgent need to end the genocide being committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip and to work toward a two-state solution.
Hahn stressed in a written statement issued on Sunday ahead of his visit to Madrid that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is unbearable, affirming that Germany continues to advocate for a ceasefire and to reaffirm its commitment to a two-state solution.
He noted that Germany will underscore its approach and tangible contributions to implementing the two-state solution during the official meeting of what is known as “The Madrid Group,” scheduled to be held in Madrid today.
