ROME, May 25, 2025 (WAFA) – The World Food Programme (WFP) warned on Sunday that Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip remain on the brink of starvation, underscoring the urgent need for a continuous, daily, and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid into the besieged enclave.
In a post on its official account on X, the UN agency stressed that the humanitarian and relief crisis in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels, particularly since Israel sealed off all crossings on March 2.
“Letting aid in is the first step — we need a sustained, daily flow of trucks, the WFP said.
“We also need the ability to move and distribute aid inside Gaza safely and without delay,” said the post.
