BEIJING, April 28, 2025 (WAFA) – The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed the appointment of Hussein Al-Sheikh as Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and as Deputy President of the State of Palestine.
In a statement, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Geng Shuang, emphasized that China firmly supports the just cause of the Palestinian people in regaining their legitimate national rights.
He reiterated China's commitment to backing the Palestinian Authority in its efforts to strengthen governance, enhance its authority, and ensure effective control over all Palestinian territory, including Gaza and the West Bank.
