KUWAIT, April 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah reaffirmed on Tuesday their firm rejection of the displacement of Palestinians from their land.
This came during a meeting between El-Sisi and the Crown Prince in Kuwait, according to a statement issued by the Egyptian presidency.
The statement said that El-Sisi and the Crown Prince discussed regional developments and Egypt's ongoing efforts to broker a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
They stressed the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the full and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, and the start of Gaza’s reconstruction in accordance with the Arab plan.
Both leaders also underscored the importance of continuing international efforts to revive a serious political process aimed at establishing an independent Palestinian state based on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
