CAIRO, April 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reiterated Egypt's complete rejection of any attempts to change the demographic structure of the Gaza Strip through proposals of displacement of the Palestinians.

In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the Arab-Islamic ministerial committee meeting on Gaza, which was held on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, he stressed that “such acts are considered a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and undermine peace efforts and threaten regional peace and security.”

Abdelatty emphasized the necessity of the transition into the second phase of the agreement, noting that Egypt has made every effort to de-escalate tensions and provide humanitarian assistance, and continues to engage in negotiations to resume the ceasefire agreement and ensure the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid.
