PM Mustafa discusses efforts to end Israeli aggression on Gaza with Egyptian foreign minister

ANTALYA, April 11, 2025 (WAFA) – On the sidelines of his participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mohammad Mustafa met on Friday with Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty to discuss the latest developments, including efforts to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and to resume and solidify the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The two sides also discussed the ongoing attacks by the Israeli army and colonists in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, as well as preparations for the international conference for the reconstruction of Gaza, which Egypt is set to host.

The discussions also addressed securing international support for the reconstruction plan and implementing it as soon as the aggression ceases.

The two officials affirmed their continued joint coordination at the international level and their rejection of the displacement of the Palestinian people—whether from the Gaza Strip or the West Bank, including Jerusalem. They further emphasized the importance of ending the occupation and realizing the establishment of the Palestinian state.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) is an annual conference on international diplomacy held in Antalya, Turkey, since 2021. It brings together policymakers, diplomats and academics to exchange ideas and perspectives on matters of diplomacy, politics and business.
