RAMALLAH, April 10, 2025 (WAFA) – The Muslim World League condemned the Israeli occupation government's decision to close six schools affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in occupied Jerusalem.
In a statement, the League said that this decision is part of systematic violations targeting, politically and militarily, the United Nations agencies and relief organizations, and their resolutions related to the rights of the Palestinian people.
It added, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, renewed his support and solidarity with UNRWA in its humanitarian mission to support the Palestinian people, calling for concerted efforts by all countries, organizations, and peoples against this ongoing Israeli barbarism in violation of all international and humanitarian laws and norms.
"Every living conscience around the world calls for an end to the Israeli government's war machine and the implementation of international and humanitarian law in response to this brutal genocide being perpetrated against Palestinian civilians in full view of the international community."
