WASHINGTON, April 9, 2025 (WAFA) — The Palestinian American Community Center (PACC) in New Jersey called on the US administration to open an immediate and comprehensive investigation into the killing of 14-year-old Omar Mohammed Saada Rabie, a US citizen, by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah.
During a press conference held in Clifton, the center called on local and state officials to condemn this unjust killing of Rabie, noting that Rabie was a US citizen and that the United States has a duty to protect its citizens and achieve justice for them.
PACC emphasized the need to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for this crime, considering that the repeated US silence on crimes against Palestinians encourages the continuation of violations.
Rabie was a US citizen. His family moved from Saddle Brook, New Jersey, to the West Bank several years ago.
Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at Rabie and two other children while they were on the street adjacent to Turmus Ayya, wounding them.
The occupation forces detained Rabi' before his killing was confirmed due to his injuries, while the other two children were transferred to the hospital.
