NEW YORK, April 6, 2025 (WAFA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned on Sunday that humanitarian supplies in the Gaza Strip are running dangerously low and the situation is rapidly deteriorating, urging an immediate end to the Israeli blockade and the entry of aid.
In a statement, UNRWA said that more than a month has passed since Israel blocked the entry of humanitarian and commercial supplies into the Gaza Strip. The agency emphasized that its teams are continuing to provide assistance using the limited resources still available, but warned that stocks are running out and the situation is growing increasingly dire.
The agency called for lifting the Israeli blockade and allowing the resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza.
