Saudi Arabia condemns occupation’s displacement steering agency, approval of 13 colonies

RIYADH, March 24, 2025 (WAFA) – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned Monday the establishment by the Israeli occupation of an agency to steer the displacement of Palestinians and the approval of a plan to separate 13 colonial outposts in the West Bank.

In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's condemnation of the Israeli occupation authorities' announcement of the establishment of a government agency that would oversee the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and the plan to separate 13 Jewish-only colonies in the occupied West Bank and recognize them as independent, a step that would pave the way for their legalization.

The Ministry reiterated its categorical rejection of Israel's ongoing violations of international law and international humanitarian law.

Saudi Arabia affirmed that there cannot be lasting and just peace enabling the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights as per international law and the UN resolutions, including their right to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
