BUENOS AIRES, March 21, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Confederation of Latin America and the Caribbean (COPLAC) Friday condemned the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Head of COPLAC, Rafael Araya Masry, decried in a press statement the ongoing genocide committed by Israel against the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, particularly children and women.

COPLAC affirmed in the press statement, which Masry and COPLAC Secretary-General Emir Murad signed, its categorical rejection of the ongoing ethnic cleansing targeting the Palestinian population of the Strip in gross violation of the ceasefire agreement.

It stated that it was not acceptable for the Israeli Prime Minister to resort to mass killing and genocide against the defenseless Palestinian people as a means to secure his political survival, particularly since he is tried on corruption charges and likely be convicted of corruption.

It added that the ongoing Israeli aggression is nothing but an attempt to impose the “Final Solution” to eliminate the Palestinian people in Gaza and force them to leave their land.

It urged the governments and institutions of Southern American states to condemn this new aggressiveness and take the necessary measures to oblige Israel to accept a negotiated peaceful solution that safeguards the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to establish their independent state.
