Germany urges Israel to allow aid supplies into Gaza

BERLIN, March 12, 2025 (WAFA) – German Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Kathrin Deschauer Wednesday urged Israel to comply with its obligations under international law regarding the suspension of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

“Like many other countries, we expect the rulings of the International Court of Justice to be respected and the provision of humanitarian aid and electricity to be guaranteed,” said Deschauer as reported by Anadolu Agency.

In a press statement, Deschauer expressed concern over the recent suspension of humanitarian aid and electricity and water supplies to Gaza.

She called on the Israeli government to restore the entry of humanitarian aid and the supply of electricity to the Strip, noting that it was a matter of providing vital supplies for a large number of people.
