BRUSSELS, March 11, 2025 (WAFA) – The European Union (EU) said Tuesday that Israel’s order to cut off the electricity supply to the Gaza Strip will increase human suffering.
“Israel’s order to cut all electricity supply to Gaza a week after cutting aid supplies will worsen the already dramatic humanitarian crisis,” Hadja Lahbib, EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, said on X account.
She stressed that “it is urgent to deliver a lasting ceasefire to save civilian lives.”
