BERLIN, March 7, 2025 (WAFA) – The German government welcomed on Friday the adoption of the Palestinian-Egyptian Arab plan for the reconstruction of Gaza.

German government spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit expressed his country’s support for the plan presented by the Arab League, noting that it contains many positive elements that can be built upon. He called for the start of constructive discussions in this regard.

Meanwhile, German Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sebastian Fischer pointed out that this plan contributes significantly to addressing the political and security issues related to the Gaza Strip, while laying the foundation for sustainable peace.

He emphasized that forced displacement operations are a violation of international law.
